1. All over again: Just when you thought the Braves and Pirates were heading for another impromptu doubleheader (plus one), the Atlantians pulled out a 2-1 victory in just 10 innings Wednesday night. This game was not without other similarities to the 19-inning marathon from a night before.
One, the Pirates came up short on another play at the plate (the ump got the call right this time). Two, Bucs manager Clint Purple didn't use closer Joel Hanrahan AGAIN. He's saving him for next season, apparently.
