Dodgers Locker:
31-year old righty starting pitcher Jon Garland will miss the rest of the 2011 season as he will undergo shoulder surgery next Monday. Garland started 9 games for the Dodgers this year and he was 1-5 with a 4.33 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. Garland has now pitched in parts of two years for the Dodgers in which he has pitched in 15 games (all starts). Garland is 4-7 with a 3.69 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP in those 15 starts with the Dodgers. 2011 will mark the first year since 2001 that Garland hasn’t won at least 10 games in.
