Dodgers Locker:
The Dodgers have turned down 32-year old righty starting pitcher Jon Garland’s option for the 2012 season valued at $8 million bucks. This was a very easy choice for the Dodgers as Garland is still recovering from right rotator cuff surgery. Garland pitched in 9 games (all starts) for the Dodgers in 2011 and he was 1-5 with a 4.43 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. He pitched in 15 games (all starts) in his two years with the Dodgers and he was 4-7 with a 3.64 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP. The Dodgers should be o.k. without him.
