Maybe I've been looking at this all wrong, expecting Omar and the Wilpon's to go out spending like drunken sailors to fill every perceived hole on the club. But could it be that this team will significantly improve with basically the same positional roster it started last year with, after all they were the second best offense in the National league. But after two disappointing seasons how could that be ?Because this team never truly played any stretch of the season as a whole. When Church and Pagan were on fire, Tatis wasn't even with the club and Delgado was hitting .200. By the time Tatis arrived and Delgado got hot the other two were gone. And just forget about Alou who never contributed at all but his numbers for most of the year were replaced by Tatis.
