At least that's what it seems like these days. LHP C.J. Wilson came on in the eighth inning of a tie game and gave up a leadoff walk and then a two-run homer to Melky Cabrera that led to a Rangers' loss. That produced a rash of comments from fans on the in-game chat. And many of you expected to see Wilson struggle despite pitching so well the night before. I was also listening to The Fan on the way home from out chat at Buffalo Wild Wings in Grapevine (you can watch a replay here) and heard many of you calling in and texting the Ben & Skin Show saying you've had it with Wilson.
So is there anyone out there who is indifferent to Wilson? I'm just amazed by the kind of reaction he gets from fans. First, let me say I understand part of the thinking. Here's a guy who has amazing stuff. Some of the best pitches you'll see from a lefty in the bullpen. Yet, he's been inconsistent almost from the moment he set foot in the majors.
