See the picture above? That's right, it's Aaron Heilman smiling, something that has not happened since April 15th, 2005. That will change tonight. Why? Well, I have reasoning for making this prediction ... good, solid football reasoning. But something tells me that you could care less to read it. So as the corners of Heilman's lips curve upwards, expect a loud scream of terror in response to muscles which haven't moved in that direction in years. And expect a new Mayan calendar in the mail.

(Editor's note, Dave Magadan, Frank Lary, Andy Phillips, and Craig Shipley are the four Mets who played for the Crimson Tide. Go win a bet with that information.)

Well, so much for Aaron Heilman forming his first smile in eight years, as his Notre Dame Fighting Irish were clobbered by the Crimson Tide of Alabama 42-14. Heilman must have watched this blowout and saw 11 Yadier Molinas wearing crimson.
Maybe one day, Heilman will form a smile in response to some positive stimuli. But look at him. He's obviously upset. But how can you...
The Texas Rangers are raising single-game ticket prices again after failing to win a playoff game, losing slugger Josh Hamilton in free agency and trading fan favorite Michael Young.
Most of the increases were $1 to $4 per ticket. The team also designated 36 of its 81 home games as more expensive premier games, up from 26 a year ago.
After going to the World Series two years in...
There have been a lot of mixed feelings out in the blogging world on what the Texas Rangers have done by signing Lance Berkman. There is a palpable risk for the Rangers since Berkman only played 32 games in 2012 due to continued problems with his knees. But what if Berkman could play a hundred games in 2013? If that could happen or more, then Lance Berkman will be worth every penny...
