Pe Yesterday I noted that AL East Rivals, the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees were out to win if suddenly 2005 came roaring back. The Rays and Yankees stand out because they have been competitive for the past several years, but Peter Angelos, Andy McPhail and company are out to make sure the Orioles also make an impression should the clock be rewound to 2005. The latest news is that the Orioles are committing quite a bit of energy to adding Vladimir Guerrero to their 2011 roster, one that has also seen the team add 2005 dynamo Derek Lee. So, using the same exercise we did yesterday, let’s see how much 2005 talent the Orioles are adding, assuming that Guerrero is added to the O’s roster.
