Apparently the Tigers might not be done yet re-tooling their bullpen a day after acquiring Jose Veras from the Houston Astros.
According to various reports, including Mlive.com’s Chris Iott, the Tigers and Giants appear to be discussing a deal that would send lefty reliever Javier Lopez to the Motor City.
The report was also touched on by CBS Sports’ Danny Knobler and FOX Sports’ Jon Morosi via Twitter.

So far this season Lopez has been very good out of the pen going 1-1 with a 1.42 ERA. He could also be a very viable option as a left specialist given left-handed hitters employ a measly .172 average with a .466 OPS against him this season. Numbers the Tigers obviously could benefit from espe...
