So the Rick Porcello trade rumors continue as Jon Morosi reports that the Arizona Diamondbacks are now interested in the young starting pitcher.

Morosi adds that the Tigers will more than likely ask for a shortstop, late-inning reliever or right-handed-hitting outfielder in return. Detroit also doesn’t look to be a finalist for Scott Hairston who Morosi believes the Yankees and Mets are the most likely destination.
The 24-year-old Porcello went 10-12 with a 4.59 ERA last season in front of an infield that didn’t best suit his 53.2% ground ball rate in 176 1/3 innings. It’s been widely considered that if the Tigers do in fact deal Porcello, a good fielding National League team would be the best suitor.
Detroit doesn’t have to trade Porcello though. He’s under team control through the 2015 season and seems like a break-out candidate any time now...
