"Now I know what chicks feel like" is what my man Tim Lincecum said last night when he got a champagne facial after the San Francisco Giants beat the Reds and moved on to the NLDS.  He then dropped a little F bomb at the end of the video to cap it off.  That's why cameras in these kind of moments are the best.  Honestly can't believe we didn't hear anything worse.  Lincecum is coming out of the bullpen for the Giants this post season and has been pitching well, just don't think they will win it all this year for some reason. Whoever wins the Nationals vs. Cardinals game tonight is my pick for the NL.  Needless to say the playoffs have been awesome so far this year.   Check out the champagne facial in the video below. Lincecum is the old Timmy again

Tim Lincecum, reliever. Sounds pretty good after all. Lincecum was demoted to the bullpen for the playoffs because his numbers were worse than Barry Zito's (especially late in the season), but the two-time Cy Young Award winner made a huge impact Wednesday in Game 4 of the National League Division Series. Out of the bullpen, he threw 4 1/3 innings for the win in the Giants...

Melky Cabrera reinstated to San Francisco Giants Roster

Melky Cabrera was in the middle of an MVP-type season for the San Francisco Giants in 2012, when it was revealed that he tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance. He was suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball on August 15. Cabrera has now served that suspension and was reinstated to the Giants’ 40-man roster on Friday, which means he is technically eligible to...

San Francisco Giants: Tim Lincecum back to the rotation?

On Wednesday night Tim Lincecum all but saved the San Francisco Giants’ season by tossing 4.1 innings of relief against the Cincinnati Reds, after starter Barry Zito checked out after just 2.2 innings. Lincecum was brilliant and got the win in Game 4 of the NLDS to extend San Francisco’s season after an 8-3 road victory. Now that Lincecum has shown that he can still bring it...

Giants coach Kelly out with concussion

San Francisco Giants first base coach Roberto Kelly will miss at least the first two games of the NL championship series with a concussion after being hit in the back of the head by a foul ball in batting practice. Giants manager Bruce Bochy said before Game 1 against St. Louis that Kelly remains at home recovering a day after being hit by a ball off the bat of Buster Posey. Bochy...

Posey's slam lifts Giants to NLCS

Buster Posey came to Cincinnati wondering whether the San Francisco Giants were long for the postseason. Down 2-0 in the best-of-five National League Division Series to the Cincinnati Reds, Posey, a leading candidate for the league's MVP award in his first season back from a serious ankle injury, had been scuffling at the plate with a 3-for-17 start in the first four-plus games...

Lincecum's relief work helps Giants survive

CINCINNATI What was once a monumental advantage for the Cincinnati Reds is now reduced to a sliver of an advantage over the San Francisco Giants. It some would say: "Advantage, San Francisco." That's because momentum is pushing hard behind the Giants after their 8-3 victory over the Reds Wednesday in Grat American Ball Park. The significance. The best-of-five series...

Bumgarner will start NLCS Game 1

Left-hander Madison Bumgarner will pitch Game 1 of the NL championship series at home Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Manager Bruce Bochy chose right-hander Ryan Vogelsong as his Game 2 starter for Monday. The Giants waited out the ending of the wild-card Cardinals' thrilling comeback at Washington on their team plane in Cincinnati before heading home to the Bay Area...

"This Train" Has A Sense Of Humor

You know damn well that if Angel Pagan was wearing a Mets uniform the ball would have rolled to the wall, everybody on the planet earth would have scored, and Pagan would still be in left center field asking somebody what the fastest route to the ball was. Instead, he's a San Francisco Giant and this ball landed softly in his glove, and the Giants completed their comeback, winning...

Just a few quick thoughts on baseball's Division League Series

Well, the San Francisco Giants are the first of the postseason teams to move on, eliminating the Reds in Game 5. The Washington Nationals are fighting for their lives right now against the Cards, and tonight Baltimore and the Yanks and the A's and Tigers both have match-ups. What I find interesting is that not a single division series was a sweep. Every single one of them has...

Giants beat Reds to advance to NLCS

Buster Posey insisted all along -- even after San Francisco lost the first two at home -- that his team was far from done, no matter how long the odds. Turns out, he was right. And the NL batting champion had a lot to do with this most Giant comeback. Posey hit the third grand slam in Giants postseason history on Thursday, and San Francisco pulled off an unprecedented revival,...
