Tim Redding had another strong start today this time against the juggernaut known as the Washington Nationals. Redding went seven innings giving up two runs just one of them earned to bring his record to 3-6
Two of the three runs were knocked in by Daniel Murphy who if anything has shown an intangible of mental toughness. You can mock that all you want but think about how Murph has not had the best of weeks on the field but still has been able to put it behind him and play some good baseball. Yes I know his OBP is still woeful but cut a little slack here haters please. I guarantee you there are GM’s out there hoping the Mets screw this up and look to deal Murphy for a utility infielder.
