Pudge Rodriguez has openly campaigned to join the Mets and has received the support of the Mets contingent on the Puerto Rican team. The Mets have attempted to dismiss rumors linking them to the HOF catcher but now the organizational's very powerful assistant to the GM Tony Bernazard sounds like he's openly supporting the move.
