We start off with one of the most recent moves that the club made in 2011, but it's a pretty damn important one in my books.
The Blue Jays didn't exactly have a closer this time last year. Well, that's not totally true, I guess. We had Kevin Gregg, who was a) not good, and b) someone what wanted a multi-year deal. The on-field results, as you know, were...not desirable.
Which is why the acquisition of Sergio Santos from the Chicago White Sox was such a key move as the Blue Jays move forward with a bullpen rebuild. The price -Nestor Molina - wasn't cheap, but in Santos, we now have someone who is in his prime (27), controllable, and who possesses a filthy repertoire.

A couple of quick questions, which I hope get more replies than the usual post or else I won't learn much. 1. If you could buy a 2012 Blue Jays pre-season preview e-book - say something on the order of 4-6,000 words - for something less than $5 sometime in the first half of march - would you? and do you think your fellow jays fans would? This would have considerably more depth...
A Glass Half-Full Outlook for the 2012 Chicago White Sox
US PRESSWIRE
This off-season has been a confusing one for the Chicago White Sox and their fans. The Winter Meetings got off to a shocking start when they traded Sergio Santos to the Toronto Blue Jays for prospect Nestor Molina. Not a bad trade on paper, but of all the rumored White Sox players on the move, Sergio Santos was not one of them. The Santos move seemingly was the start...
