Fire Brand American League:
If Roy Halladay gets traded he definitely left Toronto Blue Jays fans a splendid last impression.
Halladay pitched his fourth complete game of the season allowing six hits, one run, no walks and seven strikeouts.
The Boston Red Sox got their lone run in the first on a sac fly by David Ortiz.
Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis both went 2-for-4 in the loss.
Star of the Game - Halladay
He pitched a gem for the Toronto Blue Jays. There is no other way around this.
Jon Lester could be blamed for walking four batters but that is about it. Lester pitched seven innings allowing just three runs on five hits.
Next Game - 7/20 vs Texas Rangers - John Smoltz/Kevin Millwood
Smoltz runs into a red-hot offense team at Rangers Ballpark.
