We had an eventful ASU sports weekend, but mostly for the wrong reasons. We might as well start with the good.Basketball Looking LegitI had the pleasure of attending the ASU-San Fransisco basketball game on Friday night. ASU rolled the Dons (greatest nickname ever?) 104-65 in a display of three point shooting I don't think I have ever seen from a Sun Devil team. The team combined to go 18-32 from three point land. Euro (Rihards Kuksiks, remember?) hit seven three pointers himself. The big story of the game was the play of true freshman Trent Lockett. He has already found his way into the starting line up with his impressive play. He had 19 points on Friday night and continues to show impressive rebounding instincts. He's no James Harden, but he is proof that Herb Sendek knows how to recruit.
