Trade deadline unspectacular (and also spectacular)

It’s July 28 and do you know where your Roy Halladay is? I’m sure some people are convinced he got traded to St. Louis last week, just as some are mourning the departure of Andy LaRoche in Pittsburgh. So it goes. For Red Sox fans, it’s nice not to have to deal with trade deadline madness this year. When it happened with Nomar, it was 2004 and blogs were still this weird thing for weirdos who wanted to tell you about what they had for breakfast or why Highway 61 Revisited is overrated.
