Travis Hafner got his 1,000 hit tonight as the Cleveland Indians win over the Chicago white Sox 11-2. The Tribes offense was on fire, Kosuke Fukudome got the Tribe going tonight.  Fukudome  was the first batter the Indians sent to the plate and he opened the bottom of the first inning with a home run, his fifth as an Indian. The very next hitter was Jason Kipnis, he must of like watching the fireworks go off after Fukudome’s home run so Kipnis thought why not, Kipnis hit a home run to give the Indians their first, first inning back to back home runs in forty years. The Indians offense took over tonight’s game. It looked like the offense we saw in mid April thru May. Asdrubal Cabrera hit a home run and had a 5 R.B.I. night. Cabrera is the first Indians short stop to hit 25 home runs in a season. Travis Hafner hit a double to give him number 1,000 and the fans went wild. Grady Sizemore added a hit to bring in two runs.
