There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Angels have something very special on their team.

Something called a “triple threat.”

Albert Pujols, Mark Trumbo, and Mike Trout.

These three players are playing incredible for the Angels this season, all contributing offensively and defensively, specifically with their power bats.

Lets start off with Albert Pujols.

Pujols had a slow start to the season, barely hitting any home runs and struggling to swing the bat. As the season continued though, Pujols got back on track. Although Albert’s stats aren’t tremendous as they usually are, he has really helped to improve the Angels ball club. He is currently hitting .279 with 17 home runs and 57 RBIs. Pujols is hoping to keep improving this season so he can lead his team to the play-offs.

Next is Mark Trumbo.

Trumbo is having an outstanding season, batting .304 with 27 bombs and 66 RBIs. Mark is a power house and you probably remember seeing him hit long bombs in the home run derby. This guy has a ton of power and so much potential. Even though Mark Trumbo has only had 2 years of experience in the league, he is already turning into a star in the MLB.

Last up is Mike Trout.

This young phenom is having an unbelievable year. Not only is he batting an incredible .354 batting average, but he got named into this past all-star game with only 1 year of experience. Trout has 15 home runs and 47 RBIs and his bat has been very consistent for him. Trout has a ton of potential and will only get better from here on out.

These three amazingly talented players are all on one team playing together. The Los Angeles Angels have improved by a huge margin and one of the main reasons for their success is these three all-stars combined on this team, helping them win games.
