Toronto at Texas: After a slugfest on Monday, the Jays and Rangers continue this series with a doubleheader. Cleveland at Detroit: Carlos Carrasco makes his long-awaited MLB debut. He'll just be doing it as a Cleveland Indian, not a Philadelphia Phillie. Indians fans have to hope Carrasco's start is a glimpse into a positive future. He'll match up against Edwin Jackson.New York Yankees at Baltimore: Andy Pettitte fell seven outs short of perfection on Monday night. The Yankees send out A.J. Burnett in the second game of this series.San Francisco at Philadelphia: Fans in Philadelphia will be treated to a playoff preview when the Giants roll into town on Tuesday. This first game features a battle of lefties as Jonathan Sanchez and Cole Hamels take the hill. Ryan Howard, last week's NL Player of the Week is on a tear. He's coming off a week in which he went 11-for-28 (.393), with 5 home runs and 12 RBI.Boston at Tampa Bay: The Rays come into this series five games behind the Red Sox for the AL Wild Card. Winning this series would help them out. They'll recall Andy Sonnanstine to face off against Jon Lester. The Sox enter this series having won their last three. Boston has lost 14 of its last 16 games at Tropicana Field. Overall, the Rays are 15-6 against Boston since June 30, 2008.
