Las Vegas, NV — The Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA) Experts’ Baseball Draft was held in Las Vegas, NV on January 16, and featured industry leaders such as USA Today, CBS Sports, Rotoworld, and Fantasy Alarm. The annual event represents the inauguration of the fantasy baseball season, and is an early trend-setter for fantasy baseball player value and projections. The draft lasted 29 rounds and took three hours, with shortstop Troy Tulowitzki garnering the first overall selection. The event was broadcast live, pick-by-pick, on Sirius XM Fantasy Sports Radio, with additional commentary from each of the 13 participants.
