Eli's MLB Rumors:
The Twins have ended contract talks with free agent reliever Juan Cruz. Cruz rejected the Twins' first offer, and sources don't expect the Twins to reengage Cruz. Cruz posted a 2.61 ERA with 71 strikeouts in 51.2 innings. The Twins have an interest in free agent closer Chad Cordero, but the Marlins and a half dozen other teams are interested in him as well. Cruz now has two options. He can either sign at a reduced price with the Diamondbacks and play out the season or he can hold out till after the draft and sign with any team we wants.
