It’s no secret that newly-acquired Angels’ pitcher Zack Greinke throws pretty hard.  If you’re looking for first hand evidence of the power behind Greinke’s fastball, just ask umpire Bill Miller.  Miller called Wednesday’s game between the Angels and A’s from behind the plate. In the first inning, Greinke and Angels’ catcher Chris Iannetta got crossed up on signals.  Iannetta was expecting something off-speed, but Greinke brought a 94 mph four-seam fastball.  The byproduct of the cross-up was Miller taking the pitch directly in the mask.  As most umpires would, Miller appeared to shake it off after initially looking dazed.  It isn’t all that uncommon for an umpire to take a foul tip off the mask, so not much was thought about it. But then the side effects kicked in and they obvious…twice.  A little later in the game, Miller rang A’s third baseman Brandon Inge on a pitch that was actually the second strike of the at bat.  Then an inning later, Miller tried to ring up A’s shortstop
