Castrovince has news from Eric Wedge himself that another move will be made following today's game..

What is that move?

Not sure, but Castrovince has a hunch it will be Luis Valbuena and it could mean doom for Tony Graffanino most likely. Don't rule out Trevor Crowe getting sent down to go back to four outfielders, or another bullpen arm(but who?) to get back to a normal pitching staff with five starters and seven relief pitchers.

If it's Graffanino, that means Luis Valbuena will be the primary utility man until Jamey Carroll returns. This would let them rest Jhonny Peralta a little more for the time being, either with Valbuena or Cabrera sliding over.

I'm sorry but I can't agree with Valbuena being called up.

Josh Barfield has done nothing but hit his ass off since getting called down. He didn't get a fair shot in the big leagues this year and to me it would be un called for to snub Josh like this.

There is no defensive difference if you call up Barfield. Cabrera is a shortstop, Barfield can not only play the same positions Valbuena would sub in at (2nd and 3rd) but he can also play outfield.

So what the hell gives?

I know Valbuena is doing well at the plate, but Josh Barfield has EARNED a fair chance at this roster spot and being a back up utility man. People are going to dump on Barfield, but you can't deny the fact that he did EVERYTHING this team asked him to do in Spring Training to get a roster spot. He was sent down and he did nothing but hit well for the Clippers and this is how you repay him? By not even giving him the shot he earned earlier?

I'm really disappointed if that's the case. I'll wait for an official move, but I don't like this hunch because AC is very rarely wrong with his hunches.

Columbus plays in 25 minutes. I'll be back when their lineup is released, we should know by who's in it and who isn't. They shouldn't start the guy they are going to call up because you never know what will happen with injuries.
