Justin Verlander shut the door on the Chicago White Sox Friday evening in a 4-2 victory from Comerica Park
Like any other outing from Verlander, he was spectacular once again fanning 6 Chicago hitters in eight total innings while giving up only four hits and earning his 11th win of the season. More importantly though he out dueled his veteran counterpart Jake Peavey and rested a bullpen that will more than likely be needed as the weekend series progresses.
