The other day, Mariano Rivera joined the very prestigious 600 save club. The only other member is future hall of famer Trevor Hoffman, who has 601 career saves. Now I know this may be stating the obvious, but Rivera only needs one more save to tie Hoffman as the all-time leader. For this week’s Video of the Week, I’ll be criticizing the Yankee closer before he gets tons of praise on SportsCenter. This is a save Mariano should have had already, but Luis Gonzalez had other ideas.
