After letting these thoughts stew for a few hours, it’s time for me to say my thoughts on Texas Rangers infielder Michael Young getting a first place vote for the MVP.
Are you freaking kidding me? Really? Michael Young? Not Miguel Cabrera? Not Jacoby Ellsbusy? Not Justin Verlander? Not Jorge Bautista? Michael Young? That is one of the worst votes in the history of sports award voting and is compared to the idiots who keep Ron Santo out of the hall of fame.
Michael Young is a good baseball player. One of the best right handed hitters in our eras. He could get to 3000 hits which will give him a hall of fame shout out, but in no way…NO WAY is he the MVP. Not even close. I don’t even need to get into numbers because if anything? He should have gotten like a 10th place vote.
