Wagner down the Mets should get Reyes III

The Mets received very bad news today after Billy Wagner's simulated inning, Billy's forearm is fine but his elbow is now sore. Wagner will not be coming off the DL on Monday and is heading back to NY to have the elbow examined. The Mets have been piecing together saves since Wags went on the DL and were desperately hoping to get him back in the shortest amount of time.Many have been clamouring for Eddie Kunz to get a shot but the bottom line is that Manuel has been unwilling to put the season on a kid from AA. If Kunz failed it would be a double edged sword, not only would it cost a team in the playoff hunt games but it could effect the Psyche of young closer ( I do think closers are different then other pitchers and when they lose their confidence they can be deeply effected).
