Found July 29, 2013 on Diehardsport:
A Washington Nationals fan was spotted wearing this jersey with the names of four Nationals players on the back of his custom jersey (Ryan Zimmerman, Bryce Harper, Denard Span and Wilson Ramos). Not only that, the No. 6 jersey belongs to Anthony Rendon. This is one way to give all your favorite players their love all at the same time. It would be way more interesting if this guy did some manscaping on his back hair with ‘Zimharpanmos’  like this Minnesota Twins fan with Joe Mauer. That would show some real love and talent, and some real fur. [@KyraSchu, DC Sports Bog]

Photo captures Nat hitting ball off nuts

In the second inning of the New York Mets-Washington Nationals tilt on Sunday, Nats pitcher Taylor Jordan fouled a ball off during his at-bat. The ball caromed off the dirt and bounced up, straight into his man parts. As The Big Lead reports, neither broadcast crew apparently commented upon how the ball had made an [...]The post Fan takes photo of precise moment Nationals pitcher...

Washington Nationals options at the trade deadline

As the month of July winds down, the trade deadline is now only a few days away. At this time of the year most teams are grouped into one of two categories, buyers, or sellers. The Washington Nationals however, fall somewhere in the middle. Currently sitting 8.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves in the NL East standings, any sort of a rental player does not seem like a viable option...

Nats tried to sign SS Desmond long-term this spring & will try again

The Nationals made a run this spring at trying to lock up star shortstop Ian Desmond but didn't reach an agreement Nats-connected sources said. While nothing appears imminent at the moment with talks apparently stopping once the season began the Nats still hope to keep Desmond who's had a very nice year and barely missed making the All-Star team a second time with an extension...

Haren, home runs lift Washington to 4-1 win past Mets

Very little about this Washington Nationals season has unfolded as expected. Four days from August they sit three games under .500 and 81 / 2 games back of first place in a weak National League East. Their talented lineup has dragged down the rest of the team. Mediocre opposing pitchers have baffled Nationals hitters. One of their biggest offseason acquisitions a leadoff hitter is...

Dantastic!

"After that 11-0 game, I think that could be rock bottom there. We don’t have any time for hitting bottom any more. That’s it. If we’re going to hit rock bottom, that was the time and we have to go from there." (Dan Haren, via Washington Times, 7/27/2013) Nationals 4, Mets 1: Pigs fly, cats and dogs live in peace, snowball fight in hell, and the Nats give...

Nationals 14, Mets 1

Wilson Ramos hit a grand slam and rookie right-hander Taylor Jordan had six strong innings for his first major league win to lead the Washington Nationals to a 14-1 rout of the New York Mets on Sunday. The Nationals won their third game in a row and fourth in five to salvage a tumultuous 11-game homestand. They lost the first six games after the All-Star break, fired hitting coach...

Ramos’ Grand Slam, Offensive Outburst Power Nats To Victory Over Mets

Three games ago, Dan Haren declared the Washington Nationals (52-54) had reached rock bottom of their shaky season after getting pounded by the New York Mets (46-55) in an 11-0 defeat. From rock bottom, there is nowhere to go but up, and the Nationals proved this on Sunday by giving the Mets a taste of their own medicine with a series-winning 14-1 victory. Since that atrociously...

Fantasy Baseball Advice: Three Up for Week Eighteen

With seventeen full weeks of the 2013 season in the books, today RotoBaller casts a critical eye on three players who are on the rise heading into Week 18: 1) Jayson Werth (OF, WAS): Even at the time the Nats signed Werth to a 7-year $126M, deal the consensus was that Werth couldn’t possibly play [...]

Nationals' Bryce Harper day-to-day with knee soreness

Washington Nationals left fielder Bryce Harper left the first game of Friday's double header with the New York Mets in the fifth inning with a sore left knee. Harper landed hard on the knee after sliding to make a catch off the bat of Daniel Murphy. He made the catch and stayed in the game initially. He singled in the eighth inning but left for a pinch hitter after pulling...

Nationals 4, Mets 1

Bryce Harper, Ian Desmond and Denard Span all homered, powering the Washington Nationals to a 4-1 win over the New York Mets on Saturday. Dan Haren (5-11) pitched seven innings for his first win since May 9, allowing one run and three hits. Desmond and Span hit back-to-back homers against Dillon Gee (7-8) in the second inning and Harper followed with a two-run drive in the third...
