Alex Rodriguez took steroids. Could this explain the transformation from a cute, fun-loving baseball player into a immature cocky bastard who thinks he can cheat on his wife with Madonna? There are so many questions to be asked after the news of his steroids use came out. I know steroids is a long overblown topic. But this isn't going away, especially with arguably the best baseball player alive accused of taking them...

Here are some opinons I gathered from around the net: (scroll down to vote in the poll)

Mike Lopresti from USA Today:
But the steroid report takes the A-Rod saga to a different, disturbing level. If true, it leaves little place for him to hide. Not even behind those 553 home runs.Money can't buy him peace, or even, so far, a World Series ring. To be Alex Rodriguez lately is to understand that most news is bad news. Except for payday.
Jeremy Hawn from Bugs & Cranks:
I feel no sympathy for A-Rod or anyone else who cheated. A-Rod definitely deserves any flack that he gets from this, but to single him out is wrong. Blaming individual players instead of commissioner Bud Selig, union head Donald Fehr, the team owners, and all of the other people who were in charge, knew this was happening, and were more than ok with it as long as they were raking in the cash, is pointing the finger in the wrong place.
Rob Neyer from ESPN:
I hope Alex Rodriguez didn't cheat. If we do find out that he cheated, I will wish that he hadn't. But whatever happens, I'm not going to change my opinion that he's a great baseball player. Like many of the greatest players, he'll do whatever it takes to be the best player he can be.
Joe Posananski from the Kansas City Star:
I know lots of people are now tearing at Alex Rodriguez, he’s raw meat in the lion’s cage. A-Roid. A-Fraud. A-Lout. A-Jerk. A-Facade. I understand. I do have to say, I just don’t feel that sort of anger toward him. I don’t feel sorry for him either. I just feel like he’s the emblem of his age.*
Mark Kriegel from FOX Sports:
The best move left for Rodriguez is to confess, apologize and try to place himself in context. Everybody was doing it, so why not me?
It's too late for Barry Bonds. It's too late for Roger Clemens. And Mark McGwire.
But there's still a little hope for Rodriguez. He can embrace his shame, not the least of which will be hearing Jose Canseco's ignominious proclamation:
"I told you so."
