If anyone thought Lou Pinella was going to sit his starters and roll over for us since everything is clinched think again, I think the Brewers have a better chance of that happening in the last weekend then we do. To be honest I thought if the Mets could get to Jason Marquis and win this game with Johan going tomorrow they had a very good chance of making the wild card. Now I'm not so sure, it's not just that they lost but it was there third in a row, all were tough and they looked completely dejected leaving the dugout....Jon Niese didn't just struggle he was blown out and Marquis was the knockout punch with a fourth inning grand slam. Niese only lasted three plus innings in which he allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two. It didn't get much better after that Figgy came in to immediately give up a solo homerun and Booby Parnell wasn't sharp giving up a run on two hits in two innings of work.
