I hate to sound negative when the Mets win a must win game and there were so many good things about tonight's game but it just shouldn't be this difficult. The Mets had a six run lead against the last place Nationals and this game still came down to the last strike of the 9th inning. The biggest question mark should have been starting pitcher Brandon Knight and once he answered the call this game should have be much easier......The offense came out on a mission, which is what I've expected the last two nights. As Reyes goes so goes the Mets and while he struggled the offense struggled. Tonight he lead-off the game with a HR, then recorded a single, a walk and scored twice. Carlos Beltran had a two homer night and is hitting .357 with 13 RBIs and 5 HRs in Sept. Delgado was right behind Beltran although he didn't hit any homers he went 2-4 with two RBIs. David Murphy had an RBI triple and should just be the starting left fielder with Tatis down.Aside from David Wright&...
