I was listening to the Dale and Holley Show today on WEEI and an interesting topic came up with connection of Manny Ramirez and him taking banned substances. David Ortiz, you know, Manny's best friend when he was on the Boston Red Sox?
David Ortiz who has not hit a home run yet this season and is clearly not the same player from two years ago (we're not going to count last year).
Sox fans can keep blaming the wrist injury, but lets wake up and smell the coffee. It's already being speculated that because Manny was supping up, that his buddy Papi was well aware and doing it with him.
Does it make sense? You'd think that Ortiz would be the last guy on the planet to do such a thing, but you'd also think that Manny would be the last guy on the planet to do such a thing...such a stupid thing.
But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised. Anything is possible now. And with Ortiz's numbers there could be some questions marks.Keeping you posted folks.
