What more can Church do......

It seems like Jerry Manuel has an issue with Ryan Church, now I heard Eddie Coleman on WFAN and while he agreed he could see how people saw it that way he disputed that the two don't get along, in fact he stated that they have a very good relationship. But Church seems to be a lunch pail, blue collar type of grinder who doesn't seem to need much prodding, still it appears Manuel is constantly pushing his right fielder more then any other player.It was Church who was told he would be giving up time to Fernando Tatis and he responded by playing stellar defense while hitting .315 this spring. Then on the eve of the season when Tatis was being discussed as more of a pinch hitter and utility player the Mets signed Gary Sheffield, where will he find at bats right field. So with Church under the pressure of preforming or platooning he starts the season hitting .533 and continuing to play solid defense.
