Basically when I asked this question I expected it would be a toss-up between Johan Santana’s No-Hitter on June 1, or R.A. Dickey’s incredible Cy Young worthy campaign. That’s exactly what we got. But there was a part of me that was wondering and hoping if anyone would bring up the 76 games that the Mets owned the first or second Wild Card spot from early April to late June. It was unexpected and kind of exciting watching all those late inning comebacks and two-out rallies. For a couple of months it felt so good to be a Met fan. Here’s what the rest of us thought… Jessica - The no-hitter. It was definitely the first thing that happened at Citi Field that started to make it feel like home. Before, Citi Field seemed like a major upgrade from Shea Stadium, a beautiful facility but not “home.” The no-hitter was the first moment that it felt like home. Nick - The best moment by far was Johan Santana’s no-hitter on June 1. I will not forget my feelings and where I was siting on that night...
