BaronI'm not sure how a few weeks out of the rotation and a couple rehab starts has cured John Maine's shoulder issues but it looks like Maine will be returning sooner then later.Maine will make another rehab start on Friday and based on those results, it will be determined whether he needs one more or is ready to return.When Maine returns he will more then likely return to the rotation, not only are there concerns about how his shoulder would handle the rigors of the pen but Takahashi seems to be having more success as a reliever.I think the Mets want him back so they can assess their rotation prior to making a trade..."I don't know yet," Manuel said, adding that the routine of warming up in the bullpen, sitting, then warming up again could be detrimental to Maine's health. source Daily News
