The Rangers' offense, which looked so good during the series against the Twins, is missing in action tonight in Tampa Bay in the opener of a key wild-card series against the Rays, who lead, 2-0, in the bottom of the fifth. Rays starter Scott Kazmir has held Texas to just one hit, a first-inning single by Michael Young. Texas' Dustin Nippert has been pretty good, having allowed only two runs (one earned) on four hits.
