Not surprisingly, the Minnesota Twins took two of three games from the Chicago White Sox at The Cell this past weekend. While the Saturday game had a thrilling ending, the Sox eked out the win. The telling statistic? The Twins are 31-8 against the Sox since May 2009.
The Sox are now five games out of first at the All-Star break (and four games from .500). Jake Peavy lasted a meager four innings while giving up 10 hits, raising his ERA to 5.27. Pierce and Pierzynski both continued their hitting with a run apiece.
