The Chicago White Sox hired Robin Ventura as the new manager. Many fans in Cleveland were hoping Snady Alomar would stay with the Indians and step into his new role with the Tribe as their bench coach. Looks like the fans got their wish. Sandy Alomar will remain with the Cleveland Indians at least for now. Sooner or later Alomar will become a manager himself I’m sure. The White Sox expressed an interest in Sandy Alomar and last year he was also considered for the manger job in Toronto.
Alomar still lives in the Chicago area where he finished his playing career with the White Sox. Alomar has always been a fan favorite in Cleveland. Alomor went to the world series with the Indians. The Cleveland Indians said they would never stand in the way of Alomar getting a manger job with another team. I for one like seeing Alomar in an Indians uniform….
