The Chicago White Sox have signed right-handed pitcher Josh Kinney and Shane Lindsay to Minor League contracts, according to sources close to Doug Padilla of ESPNChicago.com.
Kinney, 31, last played in the big leagues in 2009 with the St. Louis Cardinals. In his three-year Major League career, he is 1-0 with a 4.56 ERA over 45 relief appearances.
Lindsay has not pitched in the Major Leagues. He reached the Triple-A level in 2010 and has spent a big part of his career in the Colorado Rockies organization.
