Ryan Dempster and Jaime Garcia kick-off a three game set between the Cardinals and the Cubs tonight. Garcia has been solid-to-outstanding this year, until a disastrous outing against the Rockies. Dempster has been solid-to-awful, with the awful almost washed away.

The Cubs are reeling, so a good outing to open this road trip would give Demp the stopper label for at least a little while. But I'd expect Garcia to be as tough, if not tougher, despite the blip last week.
