One of the players the Mets got yesterday along with J.J. Putz and Jeremy Reed, was relief pitcher Sean Green. Green is a right handed side-armer who specializes in inducing ground balls. Dan Graziano believes that he could be flipped in another deal to fill another hole. Here is what he wrote on his blog this evening. Minaya is already getting calls from other teams, including the Detroit Tigers, asking him if he's interested in "flipping" right-handed reliever Sean Green, who came over Wednesday night in the deal that brought in J.J. Putz and sent Heilman to Seattle. The Mets like Green for their bullpen, but they're willing to listen. In today's Rule 5 Draft, the Mets selected Darren O'Day.
