Will the Mets make a big push for Lowe....

I said to begin the NLCS that if there was one player we could sign I would pick Derek Lowe and after watching him pitch in this series despite his team losing both his starts nothing has changed. In game one Lowe did everything he could to keep his team in the game and it was the offense that failed to produce, until the fifth he was perfect and still battled into the seventh giving up just three runs. Coming back on short rest at the end of a long season he battled through five innings again only allowing three runs and in doing so received the accolades of the Dodgers owner...."Sure, you can run statistics out and you can do a lot of things, but I think the type of player and the type of pitcher that you want in games in October are Derek Lowe-type guys.
