That wasn’t the best National Anthem I’ve ever heard, but it certainly wasn’t the worst or even what I expected from a comedian like Rob Delaney. Delaney performed the National Anthem at a Los Angeles Dodgers game after he teased it on Twitter and most people thought he was joking. But sure enough it happened. So what was I expecting? I don’t know, maybe an Enrico Palazzo or a rendition using only mouth farts. That doesn’t mean I don’t want someone to perform a mouth fart version of the Star-Spangled Banner. In fact, it would be awesome if it was a young girl or basically someone that you’d never expect it from. Like, even if one of those fat opera dudes came out, I’d probably think, “There’s a 25% chance that this guy mouth farts the National Anthem”. But if a sheepish elementary school girl walked out with her parents and she was too nervous to start and her mom was like, “It’s okay, honey, go ahead” and then she like *FART NOISE*… that would be AWESOME.WWE Monday Night Raw – 8 PM ET on USAI ran across this story earlier today. It’s absolutely awful, obviously, and I hope the guy is locked in a cage with angry dogs, but doesn’t he look like HHH’s brother?ACC Softball Pregame – 6:30 PM ET on ESPN U NCAA Softball: Virginia Tech at Virginia – 7 PM ET on ESPN UThis would be awesome if they delivered all team promos like professional wrestling promos. Like, if Virginia Tech’s pitcher storms on set and shouts, “LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, VIRGINIA!” But then, all sports should have that. It would be the greatest marriage of sports and entertainment to date.NBA Playoffs: Bulls at Nets – 7 PM ET on TNT NBA Playoffs: Thunder at Rockets – 9:30 PM ET on TNTI don’t even want to watch anymore of the playoffs because that triple OT game between the Bulls and the Nets was the best we’re going to see in this postseason. In fact, if someone at the NBA Network could edit the overtime officiating out of that game so the “Look at me!” refs could stop ruining the action, that would be fantastic. Also, how did the Nets not win that game once half of the Bulls fouled out? It blows my mind that a team with an $85 million roster isn’t way more dominant.MLB: Nationals at Braves – 7 PM ET on ESPNThe only time I ever complain about the baseball season being too long is when my team has reliever troubles, and right now the Cardinals are making me wish the season was two weeks long. These dogs agree. The post With Leather’s Watch This: Rob Delaney Sang The National Anthem At A Dodgers Game appeared first on With Leather.

The Dodgers have activated shortstop Hanley Ramirez from the disabled list, making room for him on the roster by placing pitcher Clayton Kershaw on the bereavement list. Hanley Ramirez makes first minor league rehab appearance

Often the biggest step toward recovering from an injury is playing in a real game for the first time.  Los Angeles Dodgers' shortstop Hanley Ramirez did just that yesterday.  Ramirez played in his first minor league rehab game since injuring his thumb and ultimately undergoing surgery. Austin Laymance of MLB.com says Ramirez played with a splint on his thumb to avoid further...

Dodgers fan himself catching three Matt Kemp homeruns in Dodger Stadium

One Los Angeles Dodger fan filmed himself catching not one, not two but three different Matt Kemp home run balls out in the stands of Dodger Stadium over the course of three years.  Okay, it was only during batting practice but it's still three souvenir balls. "Matt Kemp Dodger Films!"

Adrian Gonzalez missed yesterday's game with a skin infection

When the lineup cards were released to the media, Adrian Gonzalez's name was penciled in.  He was set to make his customary start at first base.  However, not long before the game started Gonzalez was scratched.  The All-Star slugger is battling a skin infection that kept him out of yesterday's contest with the Milwaukee Brewers. According to Steve Dilbeck of the Los...

Yasiel Puig was driving 97 in 50-mph zone before arrest

Yasiel Puig is proving that Los Angeles Dodgers pitchers aren’t the only members of the organization who can register high speeds on the radar gun. The Dodgers prospect was arrested at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning in Chattanooga after police say he was clocked doing 97 in a 50-mph zone. According to the LA Daily News, the police report stated that: “It took blue lights...

While he's often impressed at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles ace Clayton Kershaw has also struggled in recent games there against the Milwaukee Brewers. The left-hander will try to end those woes while Milwaukee's ailing Kyle Lohse is hoping to continue his success in Los Angeles in Sunday's series finale against the Dodgers. Kershaw (2-2, 2.14 ERA) is 36-18 with a 2.32...

Rapid React (4/29): Crawford Righting The Ship

There’s no debating the fact that the last two years have been rock bottom for Carl Crawford, but it seems that he is back better than ever in 2013. He’s more patient at the plate, not strikeout out as much, surprisingly hitting for power, and aggressive on the basepaths. These are all good things, so let’s break them down piece by piece.Patience — Right now Crawford is being...

Game 15 (Brief) Recap: Padres 7, Dodgers 2

Okay, so I’m a bit late to the party here and I’ll keep it brief, not because I enjoy keeping my recaps brief, but because my cold turned into a monster and I’ve barely been able to do anything for myself. Wednesday night, the Dodgers dropped their game to the Padres 7-2.  Clayton Kershaw picked up his 1,000th career strikeout, but gave up 3 home runs, including a shot to...
