David Ross hit a huge, game-winning ground-rule double in the 7th to give the Sox a 2-1 lead at the time. Jacoby Ellsbury knocked in the Sox' 3rd run later that inning, which included David Ross getting thrown out at the plate to end the 7th. Koji did his magic, collecting his 7th save of the postseason, and working over 1 inning again. Which Cardinal(s) to watch out for: Michael Wacha Everyone is drooling all over Michael Wacha, but not me. That means absolutely nothing that I don't give a ****. Wacha has the upper hand, and has been the best pitcher in the majors this postseason.  Wacha did get the best of the Sox in game 2, and the fate of the St. Louis Cardinals rests on his shoulders.  Wacha will deliver tonight, and may be just as good, or even better. Actually, now I am scared. Key to Sox victory: Keeping Wacha uncomfortable and giving Lackey a few runs in support Lackey continues to amaze, as we saw him work a scoreless inning in relief in game 4. He was out-pitched by Michael Wacha in game 2, but just barely. Wacha gave up just one run less, and the whole Breslow throw into the stands was the dagger. My point is, John Lackey can out-pitch Michael Wacha, and he may tonight. As long as the Sox can give him a few runs in support, John Lackey can work his magic. Prediction This will be it folks. Even though I don't have as much confidence in this one as much as I have with the past two games. The fan in me is taking over, and I am going with the Sox winning the World Series tonight, with a 5-3 win. Just the mere thought that the Sox can win the World Series tonight is absolutely nuts. F-you, April predictions!
