As I was looking over the free agent list of remaining available pitchers someone caught my eye.  Do you remember Brandon Webb? He is still available and would come extremely cheap.  If we are open to bringing back injury riddled Chris Young, why would we not be open to bringing in the injury plagued Webb? He is currently rehabbing from a second rotator cuff surgery, but why not take a flier on him with a minor league deal. When he was healthy he was one of the best pitchers in baseball.  Due to his injuries and surgical procedures over the past few seasons he has not appeared in a Major League game since Opening day 2009. I guess I am just searching for someone for the Mets to sign at this point.  When you see the likes of Jeff Francis who signed with Cincinnati, and Joel Pineiro who signed with Philly both getting inked to minor league deals, it almost feels like we missed out.  Those two pitchers, while not great by any means, are still very serviceable arms.  On many teams they ...
