Wow, what a game that was last night

Some thoughts • Fantastic debut by Neftali Feliz, two perfect innings with four strikeouts and not one piece of solid contact. His first outing was a sign that he could in fact make an impact in this pen down the stretch, if the team can just hang in there. • Another poor offensive game might have obscured it, but Josh Hamilton reached three times versus a tough lefty. Good sign. • Dustin Nippert was excellent once again. He's working on a five game stretch of 14 IP, 9 H, 5 BB, 9 K, 1 HR. • CJ Wilson - He'd just saved each of his last six games, and any time you blow a two run lead to start the ninth it hurts. But this one was a serious punch to the gut. • It hasn't happened often, but the Rangers were bitten by their aggressive base stealing approach, with Josh Hamilton and Andruw Jones (?) getting caught. • Tonight will be tricky for Ron Washington. He needs to be careful with Derek Holland's pitch total after stretching him last time out, but the pen isn...
