The Mets have announced that David Wright will be activated from the 15-Day Disabled List prior to tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.
Wright has been on the disabled list since August 3rd with a grade two tight hamstring strain.
The Mets’ captain has hit 17 home runs at Citizens Bank Park during his career, the second-most in any visiting ballpark. (He has connected on 18 home runs at Atlanta’s
Turner Field) Wright also has 58 career RBI in Philadelphia, the most in any visiting city.

Over the weekend I wrote that I’d bet anything Wright would be back in the lineup for the Giants series. Obviously I’m much better off playing mobile slots than I am at betting on when players return from injury.
Wright continues to work his way back form a strained hamstring ...
