The New York Yankees have returned Rule 5 pick Daniel Turpen to the Boston Red Sox, according to Maureen Mullen.  Turpen, a right-handed pitcher on the Pawtucket roster was originally acquired by the Sox from the San Francisco Giants at the 2010 trade deadline deal for Ramon Ramirez.

The Rule 5 draft occurs during the Winter Meetings and each draftee costs $50,000.  If a player does not stay ...
