I'm not a fan of this trade at all. Pineda is a very nice young pitcher, but unless they were getting King Felix in return I didn't want to see Montero traded. I have a feeling this is going to be a deal the Yankees regret for a very long time.

A person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press the Seattle Mariners have agreed to trade right-hander Michael Pineda to the New York Yankees for catcher Jesus Montero in a deal involving two of baseball's top young talents.
