When Adam Lind finally returned to the Blue Jays line up last night, I thought that it was going to take a bit of an adjustment period before he caught up to big league game speed; apparently, Lind didn’t get the memo about taking some time to get used to MLB pitching again, as the 0-3 last night was all the adjustment he needed. Lind came to work today to pick up right where he left off, cleaning up behind Jose Bautista, and generally being an offensive hero as he launched 2 home runs in a 4-for-4 day that helped the Blue Jays to a 7-4 victory over the Orioles. It was almost scary how locked on Lind was tonight. Starting his day off with a single in the 1st, Lind moved up to a RBI double in the 3rd, then completed his day with solo home runs to right in the 5th and 7th. The Orioles weren’t going anywhere near Bautista today – the Jays slugger went 0-for-3 with a couple of walks – but if Lind can keep up being a threat at the plate like this, it’ll leav...
